We have truly been enjoying our annual Trunk or Treat for years. The enjoyment that the children get from the event has made all the work done in the past worthwhile.
That being said, last year's event was poorly attended - mostly due to Covid. With the issues that our community, state, and nation are facing with the Delta Variant right now, we have made the very difficult decision to forgo the full Trunk or Treat celebration that we have done in the past.
However, we want to make certain that the children still have something fun to look forward to at the church. As such, we are going to throw them a party! During the time that we would normally have the children's sermon, the kids will get to show off their costume during a parade around the sanctuary. After the parade, they will get to participate in a Halloween party complete with treats!

While we hope that next year we get to return to our full event, we fully expect that a fun time will be had by all during this party, and maybe it will be so great that the kids won't want to go back!
