A small group of adults who meet on Sundays at 9:40 to discuss contemporary issues and how they relate to scripture. This class is led by Craig Cole and meets in the Fellowship hall - which is to your left as you enter the building from the East entrance. You can also join via Zoom.
A small group of adults who meet during the Sunday school time at 9:40 on Sundays. We select readings based on current interests that could be books of the Bible or fiction/non-fiction books that relate to Spiritual matters and discuss. Currently, we are reviewing the Psalms. This class is led by David Lautenschlager and meets in the SaFe Day office which is to your right and down the hall when entering from the East entrance. You can also join us via Zoom.
This is a small group of adults who meet at 9:40 on Sundays to do a more in-depth look at the weekly Scripture readings provided by the Revised Common Lectionary. While the class normally follows the lectionary - every once in awhile there may be a tangent. This class is led by Greg Svanas and meets in the choir room, which is immediately to your right as you enter from the East entrance. You can also join us via Zoom.
Many churches age right along with their building. Children become inactive in the church after high school and don't come back until they have families of their own - if at all. This is a direct result of churches that don't recognize the importance of this group to the church body.
Santa Fe has been able to keep their youth involved into young-adulthood. However, as we look to grow the relationship the church has with our young adults, we are looking to start a new worship service, meal, and gathering period centered on their needs. We plan for that to take place on Wednesday nights.
