Wilderness is a place of chaos and disorder. In this way, it speaks as much to the state of the soul as it does a location. Many of the most important parts of scripture take place in the wilderness. That is why when we are called to make straight paths in the wilderness, we are being called to make ourselves ready. Mitch helps us find that meaning and preparation in his sermon - both for us and for those around us. This preparation will help understand that we aren't meant to find God, but to be found by God.
