It is both a reasonable and normal response to wish to get even when we feel wronged. Often, we delight in seeing a wrong-doer get their comeuppance. And that is why we do not like this particular scripture. It tells us to do what is not normal, not reasonable, and, often, not comfortable. Mitch reminds us that we are not called to be comfortable, we are called to be like Jesus. Hopefully today's lesson might help you get just a little closer to that goal.
