The pendulum of the church, throughout history, has too often swayed from one extreme to the other between appeasement and oppression. Is it any wonder that the church appears to be shrinking in Western Culture? For an answer, we need to look into scripture and we quickly see that we aren't supposed to follow the conventional nature of society that causes this back and forth that causes people to leave the church. In fact, we are supposed to be different, and noticeably so. Mitch helps us understand what that means, and how we can live that life - no matter how foolish people might think we are.
