The parable of the fig tree is both a promise, and a warning. We are warned to take God's perspective on our call to repentance, not the world's. We are called to change our thoughts and bear fruit like the fig tree, or risk it all. However, there is a message of hope in Grace from the fig tree as well. We, like the fig tree deserve to be cut down. But again, like the fig tree, we are given a second chance through Jesus. Mitch helps give us perspective on how we might bear fruit.
