Continuing a wonderful church tradition, the Mission Committee invites our members to bring one Christmas card to post on the mission bulletin board (on the wall across from the kitchen) to share with the whole church family. We post one card instead of mailing to all our church friends, and then donate the money we save on cards and postage to the Goodland Academy.
Goodland provides a home for boys, ranging in age from 6-13 upon enrollment. These boys are unable to live at home for many different reasons. Most of the children come from single parent families and are classified as disadvantaged and/or neglected.
Eight young men live in each of three cottages, under the nurture and guidance of Christian couples. All residential students participate in work programs on campus, designed to teach them good work ethics; and, to prepare them for employment in today’s competitive society. Goodland’s mission is to provide the best education to those with the greatest need. They are located in Hugo, Ok and the last remaining mission that was begun by the early missionaries that came to serve the Choctaws more than 160 years ago.
Please write your check to Santa Fe Presbyterian Church and note “Goodland” on the memo section. The mission committee looks forward to reading your card on the bulletin board.

Please sign your name under the name of the mom or child that you have selected. This lets the mission committee know who has the names and that all names have been selected.
Bring the gifts back to the church WRAPPED by December 6th and have the angel tag attached to each gift.
The mission committee appreciates all the support you have shown the mothers and children of our mission houses. You have made a family smile and have a much nicer Christmas. God bless you!!
