INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY meets weekly, Wednesdays from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.  to pray over the needs of our church, community, and the world. ALL PRAYER IS CONFIDENTIAL! Please fill out a prayer card in the chair back in worship, place a request in Jan Ingerson’s maillot, call, or email. Mary Clyde Flesher chairs this ministry and she or any of the 10 prayer team will be happy to include your request on behalf of yourself, a ministry, or others (with their prior approval.) DAY OF PRAYER:

Numerous times throughout the year we hold a “Day of Prayer” allowing us to stop, take a breath, step back and savor the true meaning of the season. Our latest Day of Prayer was held on Good Friday. The church was open all day for people to come and go as their schedules permitted. Various hands-on, and contemplative prayer stations were set up to draw us into intimacy with Christ. There were interactive stations for children as well. Please inquire with any questions as perhaps this is your first introduction to any such experience. God waits for us daily, waits for us to pause, come to him, and sit in his presence. He is waiting to listen and speak to you. He longs to tell you how priced and precious you are in his sight. We hope to see you are our next Day of Prayer!

During Advent and Lent, a one day retreat is held in inpreparation for a deeper experience of the meaning of each Church season. This is not a day to be in complete silence, but a day to contemplate through various prayer practices, discussion, Scripture, and an intimate setting of care and compassion for our Lord and one another. Lunch and all supplies are provided. We close our time with meaningful worship and communion. Watch for the next upcoming spiritual retreat! It will greatly enriched your spiritual journey.
