What is LOGOS? A community of believers nurturing children and youth.

Who is LOGOS? We are. As a community of believers at Santa Fe Presbyterian Church it is our responsibility to equip our children and youth to live Christian lives.

How can YOU be a part of LOGOS? Volunteer. There are great opportunities for every member of Santa Fe be engaged with our children and youth as they grow in Christ.

We will need drivers, teachers, crafters, cooks, table parents or grandparents, listeners, musicians, and of course clean-up crews. Are you interested? Do you want to learn more? Please contact Mitch Miller, Tim Goff or Robyn Spahr.

The four parts of the LOGOS weekly ministry model are:

Bible Study - Bible study nurtures youth and children into intelligent, obedient, and biblically-informed discipleship.
Worship Skills - Worship is essential and central to the Christian community. In Worship Skills young people learn about worship and prepare to lead in the Sunday morning service of worship, typically through singing, bell, or speaking choirs, drama, or movement and dance.
Recreation Play - Recreation Play allows LOGOS young people to experience great fun at the expense of no one else. When we reveal ourselves in play, we strengthen friendships, and when conflicts occur, we practice our Child of God theology.
Family Time - Family Time provides a joyous, intergenerational celebration of personhood over a shared meal as LOGOS young people experience being part of the family of God. Food is served family style. Conversation is purposeful. Life is celebrated!

Adult Education Series -Spiritual Gifts

Beginning September 8, following our Wednesday Night Fellowship dinner, we will be offering a six-week short course on Spiritual Gifts led by George Ashford. Join us as we explore the nature and importance of this often over-looked and misunderstood aspect of our Christian Faith. Participants will learn what the Bible says about these gifts from God, how they are meant to be used by people of faith, and begin the process of discerning what gift(s) the Lord has chosen to bestow on themselves and one-another. Connections Class

The Connections Sunday School Class will be meeting in the sanctuary at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. This fall we will be using the video series, Faith Lessons, from Zondervan Publishing and Focus on the Family.

Tuesday Evening - Bible Study Group

The Adult Bible Study Group will continue to meet on Tuesday Evenings at 6:30pm this fall. Come at 6:00pm with a brown bag dinner if you wish.
