March Mission Projects

“For I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me… The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of my brothers, you did for me.’”  Matthew 25: 35-36, 40.

Mission projects are often chosen to fulfill the words of Jesus quoted here. Our church’s involvement with NSO (Neighborhood Services Organization) feeds, clothes, houses, and shows love and concern for the families who are going through a tough time in life.

During the month of March, we ask our members to support the NSO families by bringing to the church cleaning and paper products. Families who receive SNAP (food stamps) are not able to purchase these products through their SNAP benefits. Here’s a list of possible products for you to donate:

Toilet paper
Paper towels
Dish soap
Laundry soap
Pledge or other furniture cleaners
Bathroom cleaners
