Fall Day of Prayer
Friday, September 7, 6:00 a.m.—8:00 p.m.
Our country and our world are in need of prayer. During this time of natural disasters and political situations that have impacted people around the world, we need prayer more than ever! Our lives are busy. Why then, if our lives are crazy busy already, would we take time to get in our car, drive to the church and pray?
Because God is waiting to meet you.
There is something about stealing away a few minutes or hours set aside
IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.
Come as you are, come early or late, come by yourself or with others, COME!
Once again we will have interactive prayer stations set up in the sanctuary along with children’s hands-on prayer stations.

The members of Martha Circle cordially invite all women to join us in the Church Fellowship Hall at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12 as we begin the Presbyterian Women “Horizons” study “God’s Promise: I Am With You.”
Meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month from September – May. We begin with fellowship time, followed by member-led discussions on the selected lesson.
In nine lessons, the author takes participants through scripture to consider how God’s promise speaks to our circumstances, as individuals and a community.
Study books are available. Contact the church office for further information.

Santa Fe Church Growth Retreat
Church Growth can sometimes be viewed as a touchy subject. It requires both the inward health of the congregation and an outward boldness of inviting others into its fellowship. To some individuals this sounds difficult, if not frightening; to others it sounds deceptively simple. It is neither, and can be rewarding, enlightening, and even enjoyable.
To this end, the Outreach Committee is sponsoring a retreat for church members beginning Friday night, September 21 through Saturday evening, September 22. The retreat will be held at St. Francis of the Woods in Coyle. There are beds for 20 people if you want to spend Friday night (recommended) or, since it is about 45 minutes from Santa Fe, one could come for Friday evening and all-day Saturday.
The retreat will be led by Rev. Miller and will be an exploration of how we might become better disciples of Jesus Christ as a congregation and as individuals. It will involve discussion, study, prayer, worship, planning for the future, and practical tips and suggestions. And, of course, food, fellowship, and laughter; we are Santa Fe Church after all.
The cost will be $30 per person and $50 for a couple.
If you are interested in joining us, please contact the church office.
