In June the youth of Santa Fe traveled to Goodland Academy in Hugo, Oklahoma for the first mission trip this summer. Among a variety of tasks performed were the cutting down of trees to be used for firewood in the winter. Mitch and Jason stated that one tree was so big that together they could not reach around it.
The second trip this year was to travel to Texas to help with the recovery efforts following hurricane Harvey. The main job was to rip up damaged flooring in several rooms in a church in Gregory, Texas and replace it with new flooring.
