Lenten Spiritual Retreat

Lent: 40 days of reflection on what Christ’s journey to the cross, his death, and resurrection mean for us and the world. Join us as we set aside one day for our Lenten spiritual retreat. Based on the book “If You Want to Walk on Water You Have to Get Out of the Boat” by John Ortberg. We will have time for silence, time for reflection, time to share and time to grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus and one another. One day can change your life. Lunch and childcare provided

Seder and Tenebrae Service

This evening of worship starts with the Seder dinner, similar to the Passover meal Jesus celebrated with the disciples and moves directly into a Tenebrae worship of prayers and Bible readings that takes us from the garden to the crucifixion. Good Friday Day of Prayer
Church-wide exploration and prayer

The Lenten Day of Prayer will prepare our hearts and minds for Holy Week leading to Easter. It will not only offer time for private contemplation but also hands-on interaction with various prayer practices. No experience necessary! Walk the labyrinth, create, read scripture, and encounter God in new ways. Come as you are. Come anytime throughout the day from 6:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.. Stay as long or short as your schedule permits. Parents, there will be hands-on prayer experiences for you and your children to share together! Start them early learning the spiritual discipline of prayer while having fun! Our seasonal Prayer Days are essential for the spiritual well-being of our souls.

Easter Egg Hunt

Giant egg hunt with crafts,, refreshments, pictures with the Easter Bunny and the telling of the Easter story. This event is fun for all ages and is held rain or shine. Be sure to arrive a few minutes early with your Easter basket.

Easter Breakfast

Easter morning is a very special time in our Christian Life. After attending the Sunrise Worship Service, come and join your church family for breakfast. Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 9:15 am, and then you can attend your favorite Sunday school class. It is always rewarding to have fellowship with fellow believers. Don’t miss this opportunity.
